Our social Impact

At Hotel Grano de Oro, we believe in creating more than just memorable stays; we’re dedicated to making a difference. Beyond the comfort and luxury of our hotel lies our most heart-felt endeavor, Casa Luz, a beacon of hope for young mothers and their children escaping situations of sexual abuse, poverty, and exploitation.

Transforming lives, one stay at a time

Every visit to Hotel Grano de Oro directly supports Casa Luz, enabling us to offer a sanctuary for healing, growth, and new beginnings. Founded in 2003 by Hotel Grano de Oro’s owners, Eldon and Lori Cooke, Casa Luz is more than a shelter; it’s a home where love rebuilds the broken and ignites futures with promise.

A journey of healing and empowerment

At Casa Luz, we witness miracles daily. Through comprehensive support encompassing education, vocational training, and emotional healing, we empower young mothers to rewrite their stories. Our unique comprehensive two-stage program supports these mothers beyond the age of 18, guiding them from survival to independence, ensuring both they and their children are equipped to flourish in a world they once faced with uncertainty.

Be part of the story

Every smile in our hallways, every meal served, carries a deeper meaning—a contribution to a cycle of love, respect, and dignity. By choosing Hotel Grano de Oro, you’re not just choosing a place to stay; you’re choosing to stand with us in our mission to mend hearts, restore families, and build brighter futures.
